试析时政新词汇的英译(英文)

Abstract: Chinese political words plays an important role in the economic, political, cultural and diplomatic life in China, and it becomes an important medium for foreigners to know current China.Therefore, more and more people pay attention to translation of Chinese current political words. Many translators have made great contributions in this regard. But as far as the author of this paper can see, our translation work still leaves much to be desired. This paper, as a tentative study of exploring two basic principles and five effective methods for translating Chinese current political words by meticulously selecting many fresh examples on the basis of analyzing Nida’s functional equivalence theory and its positive element, is expected to be conductive to the translation practice and theory as a whole.

摘 要：政治性词汇在中国的政治、经济、文化、外交等各个领域扮演着重要角色，成为外国人了解现代中国的重要途径，所以时政新词汇的翻译越来越为人们所重视。目前很多译者在这一领域已取得一些成就，但是仍存在不足。本文通过分析功能对等理论并将其积极成分应用到时政新词汇的英译中，在大量精选例子的佐证下，试图从功能对等的角度探究出时政新词汇英译的两条原则，并得出了时政新词汇的五条具体英译方法，希望对整个翻译实践和翻译理论的探索有所裨益。

Introduction
Current political words is an important medium for foreigners to know China’s current development. According to its political origin, political words include the words used to describe current important affair, political trend, policy and guideline, etc. Compared to common new words, these words, full of time spirit, reflect only Chinese present special political, economic and technological development. Translation of Chinese current political words, becomes one important medium for foreigners to know China’s current development.
The research of translation of the current political words concludes definition, feature of language, translation actuality, context, etc. A few people have been researched translation of the current political words, and they have got some productions. However, as the social development, a lot of new political words have been teemed now and again, and the translation difficulties caused by different culture and thinking mode. Thus, the translation work still leaves much to be desired.

1  A general view of current political words
    Current political words is an important medium for foreigners to know China’s current development. This chapter will show the definition, formation, features and present research situation in details which will lead us to translate veraciously.
1. 1 Definition of political words
According to its political origin, political words conclude the words used to describle current important affair, political trend, policy and guideline, etc. Compared to common new words, these words, full of time spirit, reflect only Chinese present special political, economic and technological development [1]. People always get country news and policy from these words by television, newspaper and network.

As the fast social development, the formation of Chinese current political words by lots of ways, such as creating new words, extension meaning, and affixation.

The development of social politics, economy and culture has to be expressed in language.
