提高小学生英语口语能力初探(英文)

4.3.4 Kinesthetic intelligence
Bodily—the kinesthetic intelligence is a kind of ability to control and understand the moving of the body, to operate object and to build a harmonious relationship between the body and the heart. The teacher can adopt the valiant teaching method, let student complete their spoken English contents in an ease environment. Take the above-mentioned principle as basis, we can design the relevant activities with the Bodily—the kinesthetic intelligence: The small drama and the role-play activity ;Use English games in the spoken English teaching , and make these activities become part of the Student's study process.
Conclusion
Since 1983, the Multi-Intelligence Theory is put forward by Gardner, the psychology expert of the Harvard University of the United States in his book The Structure of The Intelligence. The Multi-Intelligence Theory take considerable position in numerous foreign language teaching fields and the psychology fields of the whole world. The purpose of the Primary school stage English  teaching is to stir up the students’ interest through feeling, experience, practice, participation and cooperation etc[10], and then to develop students’ certain language feeling and good speech, euphonic foundation, make them able to do daily communication with other, at last they can reach their individual development. The Multi-Intelligence Theory is of significance to the English teaching of the primary school, on the one hand, the teacher can own huge enthusiasm during the spoken English teaching process, he can adjust his teaching method, evaluation and class setting in accordance with the requirement of the students; on the other hand, the students can study in an easy, equal and diverse environment; meanwhile he can feel happy which is brought by English communication. Finally, the teaching goal can be achieved which is to make students dare to speak English, be good at speaking English, take pleasure in speaking English.
The present author attempts to find some proper ways of improving the primary school students’ spoken English ability under the guidance of the Multi-Intelligence Theory. The paper gives a brief introduction about the Multi-Intelligence Theory at first. Then on the basis of the author’s questionnaire, the present author analyzes the results of the questionnaire and discusses the factors influencing the improvement of the primary school student’s spoken English ability. Finally, the present author points out the implications of the survey study to the proper notions and proper principles that the English teachers should abide by. What’s more, the present author also puts forward some effective activities which can improve the primary school students’ spoken English ability. In the future, the present author’s research will relate to other valid fields, in order to improve the primary school students’ spoken English ability.
