2   A survey on the situation of the primary school student’s spoken English teaching
In this section, the writer gives a brief explanation of the survey, which concludes the aim, the subject and the procedure.
2.1 Aim
my survey aims at the phenomenon that the student in primary school of our country isn't accomplished in speaking English, according to the multi- intellectual theory, the writer puts forward valid suggestions for improving the primary school stunner’s spoken English ability, in order to make the primary school student dare at speaking English, be good at speaking English, take pleasure in speaking English.
2.2 Subject
     Because of the graduation practice of the writer’s university life, the writer becomes an English practice teacher of a primary school in her hometown, the DingZi Primay School at DingZi town in Wangcheng County. In the writer’s opinion, the student in grade four is in the middle stage of the primary school. The student in this stage has already accomplished the pronunciation study of the 24 letters in the alphabet, and is in the golden period of forming good social intercourse habit, which can represent the general situation of the spoken-English learning in the primary school. So the writer choose the student in grade four as the object of the survey. The writer hands out fifty shares of the questionnaire, and accepts 40 shares answer, in which 34 shares are valid.


2.3 Procedure
2.3.1 Design the investigation According to the spoken-English study situation of the grade four, in which stage the student has already accomplished the pronunciation study of the 24 letters in the alphabet, and is in the golden period of forming good social intercourse habit, the writer design a suitable questionnaire(see the appendix).
2.3.2 Data analysis In the fifth day of  the writer’s graduation practice as a English teacher, the writer hands out fifty shares of the questionnaire to the 50 students in the grade four, and accept 40 shares answer, in which 34 shares are valid. Then the writer get the summing-up from the 34 valid questionnaire.

3  Results and discussion
   According to the characteristics of this age group, the writer predicts that the primary school student may like such kind of the English class, which has abundant contents and various activities.
3.1 Results
In this part, the present author will show the result of the questionnaire in the forms of tables.

 The first table is based upon the needs and likes of the primary school student

From this table, we can see that 87.6% of the student think that the spoken-English is very important. 33.2%of the students don’t like to have English class if the class is too baldness.70%of the students like to play English games in the class and 64.5% of the student think that they can get new knowledge during the process. Most of the student likes to have English class in the computer room; what’s more most of the students like English activities in school. Since the student like abundant activities during the English-learning process, it is necessary for the English teacher to supply the platform for their need.
