应试教育在高中英语教学中的现状研究

Conclusion
In conclusion, although Examination-oriented education has caused many problems and harm to learners in English teaching in senior middle school, it also has many advantages, which we benefit from. College entrance examination will still exist, we should keep positive attitude to improve it rather than criticize it. We can absorb the valuable points to develop students in an all-round way and focus on cultivating students' creativity and ability. In English teaching in senior middle school, we should turn the pressure of college entrance examination into driving force to improve teaching methods and mode and stimulate the students’ passion and interest of English study, and gives them a strongly dynamic power of learning anything they are interested in. Meanwhile, improve students’ English skill in practice, cultivate students’ spirit of practice and innovation, and lay a good foundation for development of students.
