4  The correlation between the literature attribute and value of biography
As far as the author is concerned, biography is a kind of literary pattern, thus, it certainly has literary attribute and literature value. Here, we just from three aspects of literature value to analyze the correlation between literature attribute and value of biography. If we want to have a successful biography, we should take help of the literature attribute which includes the literature creation skills of biography.
4. 1 The aspect of physical enjoyment and relaxation value of biography
The purpose of biography is therefore the construction of a durable biography that enables the living to integrate the memory of the dead into their ongoing lives; the process by which this is achieved is principally conversation with others who knew the deceased. The process hinges on talk more than feeling; and the purpose entails moving on with, as well as without, the deceased[12]. This kind of grief process is particularly necessary in a late modern society whose members must continually re-create their own identity--but the detachment from tradition, place and kin that makes it necessary also makes it singularly difficult. Through this grief process, we get the value of the physical enjoyment and relaxation of biographical works. And if we want to take full advantage of this literature value, we should know how to gain the achievement of shaping successful personality in biographical works, this is something about the biographical literature attribute. We have to make use of literature skills to shape the successful personality.
4. 2 The aspect of the communicative and educational value of biography
Biography just like poetry and novel has its own principle for art creation and technical and delicate art form. Of course, it also has the literary function, and we can find the consistence between literary function and art form. Here, we are talking about one aspect of its value, as a channel for communication. We have mentioned it as literary value. So, if we want to take full advantage of this literature value, we should know how to gain the achievement of shaping successful personality in biographical works. Here, success of shaping the great person who exists in history or nowadays dose not mean maintaining the truth of life and ignoring the art of literary creation. Yes, we have to take the priority to obey the truth and fact of every biographee. But if we plan to help the readers to communicate with the biographee on a high level and to help them gain something deeply from the biographical world, we have to use literature art to modify the biographical works. Because that biography is a kind of literature about human being, if we really want to know human being deeply, we first should open the door of this man’s spiritual world. Exploring the human being’s spiritual world is a hard job. The biographers can not show this whole spirit world without any exaggeration and imagination in their works.        
To make the biographical creation vivid, we must take help of description of biographee’s action, complicated activity and subtle variation in the depth of his heart [13]. But such kind of activity in the innermost being cannot describe vividly just through the author’s talking about the material of biographee’s personal experience. We cannot catch the temperament of the biography just through reading the literal expression according to what the biographee did or said. If we really want to grasp the essential character of the biographee, we should follow the lead of biographer’s creation of art pattern. This is something about biographical literature attribute. We need vivid details to make the great image reappear in front of readers. So, on the basis of the truth, we must take help of literature art skills, such as exaggeration. We cannot distort fact but we can exaggerate the trivial things of daily life to show biographee’s inner-self, to show his spirit and soul. And we know that all these trivial things which were over looked by others easily always reveal the true value of man. Besides, if the experiences of biographee in biography are just orderly without any literature writing skills to deal with them, how can we communicate with the biographees, because when we reading their biographies, we just reading something like their files or resumes. So, in the event of making the literature value of biography become visible, taking biography as a channel of communication between readers and biographees, we should study the literature character of biography; take help of using literature skills to create the unique images.
The other function of the literature’s social value is that it is used as a means to education. In this aspect, biography plays an important role and we can find the great literature art in biographical works which are used to achieve this important literature value or function.
The correct approach is to produce creative literature art in accordance with biographical works. Now, we are going to study another aspect of biographical literature art character in the literature value of biographical literature attribute. Biography is not only a book of human being’s life, it is also a book filled with our state of mind; it is not only a matter of biographee’s experiences; it is also a matter of the biographer’s will, his quality of imagination, his vigor of the emotions. Only when biographer shows all these biographee’s temperament in his creations, can readers have a good opportunity to learn something when reading[14]. To show all these complicated facets of man in biographical works is a hard job, if the biographer is not able to make use of delicate literature skills, his biographical works never will be a great one. So, here we can say, expectancy of cultivating the readers can be reached in event that literature art skills are added into biographical creation. A great biography reveals an impressive image, no matter how great or how cruel the biographee is. But in general situation, biography is always full of great men who have existed in the long historic period.
