3  The literature value of biography
If we think biography is a kind of literary pattern, so here we can say that biography has its own literature art. On condition that we want to comprehend the literature art of biography, we first should know something about literary. In the following passages, we are going to appreciate one aspect of literary—literature value. Literature can have many different values on a person. The value of literature for us is actually hard to put into words. But to understand the value of literature you must know the definition of value and literature. Value means that things are worthy in usefulness or importance to the possessor and a principle, standard, or quality considered worthwhile or desirable. Literature is the body of writings in prose or verse. Literature produces value because it is basically an analysis of an experience or situation. We can get a different value out of each story. With Mark Twain's The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn it showed us that one does not have to be civilized or conform to the ideas of society to become cultured or mature. With Huck Finn he ran away from everything that was considered civilized. [8]
With the development of society, the physical needs of human beings have been satisfied most. In this world which is flooded with money, power and desire, people get lost and are wildered easily, therefore, we are urgent to satisfy our spiritual and emotional needs, here comes a way to calm ourselves—reading, or we mean literature enjoyment.
Generally, when we enjoy the pleasure gained from reading biographical works, we get the three kinds of basic function or value of biography. The first one is the value for physical enjoyment and relaxation; the second one is its value for communication and education in society; the most important one is its spiritual value for individuals[9].
3. 1 The physical enjoyment and relaxation value of biography
The biographical world has produced the most peaceful world for human society. The biography, the historic events and even a short beautiful passage will make us calm, will wash clear our heart and will point the orientation for us in this comprehensive society. At the same time, the story, the sentences or even a word from the biographical world can carry the messages which come from the real world around us, where we can find the happy or unhappy experiences. We laugh, we cry, we love, we hate with the figures in the biographical creations. This is a very valuable way for us to escape from the painful daily life for a while. It is good for our heart to have a rest, which has the good effects on our physical health.                                Every aspect of human interest and effort is the field of biography and it may be said that biography is the key to them all. In politics, in business, in education, in industry; in short, in all work and all play, everything comes back to the individual, and it is the province of biography to reveal, to explain, to classify the individual, or, if this is impossible, with any final result, at least to suggest and to indicate in that direction. The basis of biography is the identity of human life and human nature, the feeling that life has had no meaning is an impediment to a peaceful death. Life review enables a person to identify events that have been of worth and so enhances self-esteem. This approach has been extended and formalized by establishing a biographer service to compile oral and written biographies of readers who may be expected to benefit from such a re-examination of their lives. The service is now also being offered to readers whose disability precludes most other forms of activity. The value of biography as therapy is considered and it is concluded that it has much to offer in the circumstances described.
